The aim of the trial is to understand how changes to nutrition can improve your energy and wellbeing in the workplace.
To do this we’ll provide you with weekly bespoke eating plans direct to your inbox. Each eating plan will be matched to your age, gender, height, weight and dietary requirements to ensure you’re getting a balance of macronutrients (protein, carbohydrates and fats) in your diet to help you maintain your energy levels throughout the day.
Each week we’ll ask you to choose the recipes you want to eat for the following week, and guide you so that you’re shopping for and prepping your meals correctly. We’ll give you plenty of time to buy your ingredients and prepare your meals.
Throughout the trial your Breakfast and lunch will be provided by Eurest (Compass) meals based on your weekly meal choices, just use your supplied trial voucher to collect your meal and you’re good to go.
Frequently Asked Questions
What if I'm unsure of something?
If you are unsure of anything at all please contact us via the “ask us a question” button below and we will get back to you with an answer.
How should I feel during the trial?
As you eat more consistantly over the period of the trial you should expect to feel more energised, you may also see a reduction in bloating or a little fat loss.
What are macros?
Macronutrients, or macros for short, are the fuel in your food which your body needs to keep itself going. When you hear people talking about macros, they are usually just talking about our three sources of energy: fat, protein and carbohydrates.
Unlike calorie controlled diets where the scales are so important, when you work with Traact, we like to focus more on your health and wellbeing, the composition of what you eat and your body shape. You may lose weight using a calorie counting diet, but you wont change body composition ( increase lean muscle, reduce body fat) unless you are actually counting the macro breakdown of your daily calories.
How important is it that I stick to the plan?
It is really important that you stick to the plan for the duration of the trial. There is no point being really good for 4 days and not so good for 3 days, this will just set you back and undo all of you’re good work. What we want to do is get you into a routing of healthy eating and fuelling your body correctly, being consistant is when you will see the best results.
What if I miss a meal?
Although we would really like you to stick to the plan for 3 weeks we understand that sometimes things happen that are out of our control, if you do happen to miss a meal for any reason dont worry and just move onto your next one!
Why am I not on the app?
You are part of the initial trial for the workplace, the app is in development and will be ready to go in the next couple of months, the app will replicate what you are doing now but you will have much more variety from your meals. This trial is more to see if we can help boost your work performance rather than hitting weight goals etc, you can do all of that once on the app.
Can i change my mind about my food?
No, please stick to the menu you have been given, If for some reason you cannot then contact us on the link at the bottom of the page
How do I prep?
Batch cooking or freezing: Make multiple meals, then portion and store them. This method is useful for recipes you can easily cook in large batches, such as chilli.
Why do I have to eat so frequently?
Eating little and often is key to keeping digestion steady and not under-serving or overloading the digestive system which can lead to dehydration/water retention; thus skewing results on the scale. Frequent meals also help to control hunger which reduces the likelihood of you eating off plan.

Herbs and spices are fine. Beware of premixed seasoning packs that contain a lot of salt and sugar.

Yes, your weight could change while you’re on the trial, this trial is to boost performance but it will depend on what you were eating like prior to starting as to what effect it has on the scales . Usually the body has to adapt to a new eating regime, you might lose some water weight due to drinking more, your body may need a week or so to adapt to the amount food, it will change from person to person, we are here to help with any worries or issues you face, just contact us and we will explain whats happening and why.
